one person on the night shift · every case watched · NOM-251 audit in two minutes.

In convenience, the night shift is one person — running the register, restocking, cleaning. Nobody checks the walk-in at 2 AM. We do, every five minutes across every store, in chains with thousands of locations. NOM-251 report in two clicks, national dashboard with per-store efficiency ranking.

>./zonas·I · four critical zones · continuous monitoring every 5 min

four zones · continuous monitoring.

In small-format stores with a single overnight employee, the platform covers what that person can't see. Your regional team operates everything from dashboard, mobile app, or WhatsApp — by role.

01

walk-in and display cases

Every walk-in cooler, beverage case, dairy case, horizontal freezer. Temperature + door + compressor current. Product probe in cases with prepared items (sandwiches, salads).

02

energy and CFE tariff

Three-phase meter on main panel: overnight consumption, power factor, demand. Detection of forgotten equipment (exhaust hood, hot-dog warmers, coffee) running all night.

03

single-employee overnight operation

Back-room door sensor + thermal correlation with walk-in. Who opened what at what time, without cameras. Support for the lone employee multitasking between register, restock, and monitoring.

04

multi-store benchmarking

National dashboard with format-normalized ranking. Store 47 spends 30% more than store 48 with the same format — the dashboard says why. Overnight close decision with real traffic data.

Out of scope: POS · cameras · inventory systems. If your national ERP needs cold-chain or traffic data, we integrate via Custom Integration.

what we protect · what we prevent.

what we protect
  • +Thousands of pesos saved per overnight walk-in event · WhatsApp alert in 1 min, zone manager escalates
  • +Cold Chain Pro report in two minutes for surprise COFEPRIS audit · 288 readings/day/zone per store
  • +Early detection of dirty condenser · scheduled cleaning · at 100 stores, millions in repairs avoided
  • +Recovery of anomalous overnight consumption · forgotten exhaust hood or warmers · thousands/month per store
  • +Data-driven decision to close 12 AM-5 AM · at 100 stores, millions/year in adjustable payroll
what we prevent
  • Tens of thousands of pesos per walk-in event · happens 4-8 times/year per store in large chains
  • COFEPRIS fines from paper logs with 8-hour overnight gaps · temporary perishables shutdown
  • Permanent CFE surcharge from low power factor · invisible per store, massive at 1,000 stores
  • Phantom-cycle horizontal freezer · ice cream with granular texture, unsalable
  • Back-room opened at 2:30 AM with no sensor · who, why? no trace

>./workflow·how the data travels

from sensor to report · every five minutes · without human intervention

Five steps. They run in parallel across all your sites, all the time. When something crosses a threshold, the flow completes in under five minutes — alert delivered, response logged, inspector-ready evidence captured.

01

measure

Sensors measure temperature, humidity, current, door-open, leak and other magnitudes every five minutes — no operator required.

02

detect

The system compares each reading against the threshold configured per recipe · per site · per equipment. Threshold crossing triggers the flow.

03

alert

The alert routes to the right person via WhatsApp, email or push · per role and schedule configured.

04

respond

The operator acts from the dashboard or mobile app. The corrective action goes into an immutable log with timestamp + signature.

05

audit

Everything becomes part of the audit package · time series, critical events, corrective actions, NOM report ready in two clicks.

>./faq·VI · common questions before the quote

common questions · before the quote.

what happens if the internet goes out at the store?

The gateway has 32-hour backup and local buffer. Sensors keep recording · everything syncs on reconnect. If the outage is prolonged, the included cellular backup takes over automatically.

can it connect to existing display cases and walk-ins?

Yes. The sensors are external and mount on any equipment · without touching the existing refrigeration system · without operational shutdown.

how long does a chain rollout with thousands of stores take?

After the regional pilot (50-100 stores in 3-4 weeks), the rollout scales to 30-100 stores per week. A 2,000-store chain is completed in 6-10 months with parallel regional waves.

do I need my own internet per store?

No. The gateway uses the store WiFi when available · or the included cellular modem as backup. Designed for stores with mixed connectivity.

how does it integrate with the national ERP?

Via Custom Integration with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or custom system. Operational costs and critical alerts arrive directly into your central system. Regional dashboard for Zone Managers; consolidated for VP Operations.

what about franchised vs corporate-owned stores?

We configure the dashboard with corporate vs franchise hierarchy. The franchisee sees only their stores · the corporate group sees the full network. Separate reports per operation type.

how are the sensors calibrated and how often?

In an accredited lab before deployment. Validity tracked per equipment in the dashboard. Recalibration every 12 months · we keep the calendar across the entire network.

>./roi·VII · why this is good business

per store · per year · at national scale.

~ $50K MXN
approximately · per store · per year · multiplied by thousands

Per convenience-format store, between avoidable shrink, energy savings, and automated NOM-251 compliance: approximately fifty thousand pesos per year in protected value. The number is modest per store — and enormous at scale: a 500-store chain protects 25 million pesos/year, a 5,000-store chain protects 250 million.

At scale, the national dashboard identifies 60% of incidents concentrated in 5% of stores — where intervention actually pays. The per-store SaaS justifies itself with a single avoided overnight event per year; in chains with thousands of stores, events run into the hundreds per month.

The decision is not whether to invest; it's how much it costs not to when a single COFEPRIS observation in one store of 21,000 escalates to the other 20,999.
